Montana Cooperative Impact Week Comes to Big Horn, Carbon, Stillwater, & Yellowstone Counties

Cooperative leaders from across Big Horn, Carbon, Stillwater and Yellowstone counties have teamed up with the Montana Cooperative Development Center, the CHS Foundation, and the Montana Council of Cooperatives to sponsor a Montana Cooperative Impact Week set for September 24-26, 2018. Interactive, educational events are set to take place in Billings, Columbus, Red Lodge, and Huntley.  The public is welcome to attend any of the following events to learn more about cooperatives and the latest co-op development projects and initiatives taking place across the state:

  • September 24, 3:00 – 5:00 pm: Meet & Greet Co-op Reception
    This House of Books – 224 N Broadway Ave in Billings

  • September 25, 2:30 – 4:00 pm: Meet & Greet Co-op Open House
    Altana Federal Credit Union – 912 E. Pike Ave in Columbus

  • September 26, 8:30 – 11:00 am: Housing & Rural Investment Co-op Workshop
    Old Roosevelt School
    – 519 S Broadway in Red Lodge

  • September 26, 11:30 am – 1:00 pm: Meet & Greet Co-op Open House
     Yellowstone Valley Electric Cooperative, Inc. Headquarters – 150 Cooperative Way in Huntley

COOPERATIVE IMPACT WEEK is designed to raise awareness of cooperatives, highlight the economic benefits of cooperatives in our region, and educate youth and the community members on the benefits of the cooperative model for economic and community development.
